Dylan will celebrate his 16th birthday Oct. 24

To the Editor:

Dylan has been in a coma since Aug. 14, 2007, due to a brain injury because of a car accident on that day. He was a passenger in the car.

If anyone wishes to help celebrate Dylan's 16th birthday on Oct. 24 by saying a prayer for his recovery and maybe sending a card, it would be so appreciated. (No gifts, please)

Dylan was anxiously looking forward to his 16th birthday, as all teens do. He had worked this summer at the Black Beauty Mine to earn money for his car.

Dylan may still be in the coma on his birthday, but when he does finally wake up he will know that many people thought of him and were praying for him.
