UPDATE: Weather causing closures around Linton Park

UPDATE from Linton Police Delartment:

"Pleae use caution and drive around flooded areas. We currently have several roads completely submerged under water. Vehicles that breakdown blocking roadways will be towed at owners expense."

Park Road will be closed at the Hwy 54 intersection due to flooding, according to the Linton Police Department. Local traffic restricted at County Road 200 N.

Heavy rainfall has caused flooding on Park Rd, in the area of the Linton City Park. Park Road will be closed, north of Hwy 54. Local traffic/residents north of the city park may come southbound from County Rd 200 N, but are advised to exercise caution and to avoid driving through water across the roadway. Do Not travel southbound on Park Rd (Co Rd 1100 W) from 200 N, in an attempt to get to Hwy 54 or the area of the Linton City Park. Find a safe alternative route.

E St NE in the area of 11th St NE and the area around the city park may also be restricted and/or closed, pending further flooding concerns.
