Veteran Health Indiana to set-up Outreach Station at NSA Crane

Friday, March 6, 2020

Veteran Health Indiana brings its Veteran Outreach program to Naval Support Activity Crane on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. located in the Crane Cafeteria, Building 121.

The Veteran Outreach Team will be available in the Crane Cafeteria to take a complimentary photo of veterans, provide VA benefits information and to enroll veterans in VA for their primary and mental healthcare needs.

The Suicide Prevention Outreach Program Coordinator will also be available to provide information and resources regarding Suicide Prevention.

Veterans may access Crane with their Retiree ID card or a Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC), issued by the VA identifying them as service-connected, a former POW, or a Purple Heart recipient. Those with a VHIC are required to first register at the NSA Crane Visitors Center and fill out the SECNAV 5512/1, which also requires a second form of identification, such as a driver’s license.

We appreciate the support our colleagues in the media provide to ensure Veterans and the community are aware of the opportunity this event provides.
