Titus E. “Buck” Morrison Jr.

Titus E. “Buck” Morrison Jr., 74, of Jasonville, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023, at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, due to complications from a recent horse accident. He was surrounded by family members and friends. Buck was born in Sullivan County February 9, 1948, to Titus Sr. and Thelma Ruth (Mollett) Morrison.

He attended Dugger High School and was a faithful member of the Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera. In his younger years, Buck worked as a heavy equipment operator at local coal mines. Much of his working career was spent being a self-employed over-the-road truck driver, which he retired from after more than 35 years. However, Buck’s true enjoyment was being a cowboy with family and friends. He is survived by five sons, Ray Morrison of Linton, Gary (Kathy) Morrison of Jasonville, Larry (Sarah) Morrison of Nashville, Shane (Kimberly) Morrison of Farmersburg and Shannon (Dottie) Morrison of Linton; sister, Brenda Morrison; brother Clyde Morrison; four granddaughters, Brittany, Courtney, Kassi and Sydney; five grandsons, Kyle, Ethan, Lincoln, Trent and Max; and great-grandchildren Aidyn, Stetson and Mavis; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Deborah “Debbie” (Keene) Morrison (2007); wife Connie (Singleton) Morrison (2020); sisters Dixie Kirk, Nancy Clark, Mary Ruth Moore and Connie Morrison.

Services will be held at Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera. Visitation is Friday from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday morning at 9 a.m. with the service beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bobby Weir officiating. Burial will be at the Dugger Cemetery.
