Larry Wayne Rollins

Larry Wayne Rollins, 77, of Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon.

Born February 27, 1945 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Clarence and Bessie Naomi (Fish) Rollins.

Larry was a retired carpenter of 50 plus years. He worked on the family farm, trained horses and helped his granddaughter in 4H Horse and Pony. Larry loved to go hunting, fishing, trail riding and being outdoors. He enjoyed nature and believed that was God’s gift to all of us. He was a loving father and grandfather. Larry put God and family over everything, was a hard worker but took any moment to enjoy life with his family and friends.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Rhonda Rollins and Rebecca Rollins; his grandchildren, Alexandra Rollins, Brett Rollins, Megan and Shawn; his siblings, Rosemary Hatfield, Betty Mishler, Dorothy Harkin, Darrell Rollins and George Rollins.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Harold Eugene Rollins and Joe Anna Henderson; and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Newberry Cornerstone Church, with Rev. Bob Bruner officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Newberry Cornerstone Church. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Greene County 4H Horse and Pony Club.
