Patsy R. (Mitchell) Hill

Patsy R. (Mitchell) Hill, 88, of Jasonville, passed away at 9 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 22, 1935 in Jasonville to Lystra “Tubby” Mitchell and Hazel (Gambill) Mitchell.

Survivors include her husband 68 years, Jerry D. Hill of Jasonville who she married on October 26, 1954; children, Rusty Hill of Jasonville, Rhonda Hayes (Jim) of Jasonville and Robby Hill of Columbus; grandchildren, Amy, Alissa, Brandon, Jesse, Jacob, Jason, Chrystal and Charity; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Beverley Brashear of Linton, Tom Mitchell (Shelia) of Black Hawk, Bob Mitchell (Jackie) of Jasonville and Jim Mitchell of Jasonville; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Randy Hill and Ritchie Hill; brother, Jerry Mitchell; sisters, Shirley Sapp, June Shacklett, Barbara Scott and Sharon West.

Patsy graduated Midland High School Class of 1953. She had worked for the Trustee, Assessors office, as a teachers aide and at Zinz Flower Shop. Patsy enjoyed reading, sewing, cleaning, painting, baking and crossword puzzles. She loved her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street in Jasonville. Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2023 at the

funeral home. Services are immediately following at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating.

Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
