Randall L. “Randy” Smith

Randall L. “Randy” Smith, 67, of Bloomfield passed away Wednesday February 22, 2023 at Glenburn Home in Linton. Born March 2, 1955 in Greene County, the son of James E. and Mary Jo (Carr) Smith.

Randy was a sales manager for GIS. He loved the game of golf, having won the Greene County Open at the Phil Harris Golf Course 11 times over the course of five decades. Randy was a proud Democrat, an avid fan of IU basketball, the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Bears and the Bloomfield Cardinals. He made friends all across the state of Indiana through his travels as a digital mapping sales consultant.

Surviving relatives include his wife Teressa Smith; two children, Eli (Natasha) Eccles and Ross Smith; and one grandson Esau Eccles.

Randy was preceded in death by an infant sister and his parents.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

The family wishes any memorial donations in Randy’s name be given to the Bloomfield Golf Team in care of Jenkins Funeral Home.
