Lillian Rose Blanton

Lillian Rose Blanton, 96, of Bloomfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born January 12, 1927 in Linton, she was the daughter of Francis George and Lucy Faye (Beasley) Clayton.

Lillian was a homemaker and attended the Bloomfield First Christian Church.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Marilyn Graf (Jeffrey) of Bloomington; grandchildren, Katharine Graf Estes (Nicholas) of Davis, Calif. and Karl Graf (Elizabeth Baker) of Bloomington; one sister, Loretta Mobley of Bloomington; two sisters-in-law, Betty Clayton of Lawrence and Sarah Newsom of Jasonville; and two great-grandchildren, Lucia Estes and Willa Estes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Blanton on December 29, 2002; two brothers, Donald and Darwin Clayton; one sister-in-law, Pat Clayton and her parents.

The family asks that all memorial contributions to be made to Bloomfield First Christian Church.

Private graveside services will be conducted at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
