Barbara Ann Tucker

Barbara Ann Tucker, age 96, of Linton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, September 8, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born in Linton on July 2, 1927, the daughter of Bill Harrell and Edna (Baker) Harrell.

Barbara was a graduate of Switz City High School.

Barbara was a homemaker most of her life. In her younger years, she worked at Pages Card Shop, Indiana Cafe and the Real Silk.

She is survived by her son, Tim Tucker of Linton; daughter, Jill Hancock of Linton; grandchildren, Christopher (Tara) Hancock, Brandy (Eric) Edelman, Kevin Hancock (Gloria Shields), and Danielle (Travis) Coleman; great-grandchildren, Michael Hancock, Riley Hancock, Alexus Hancock, Gage Hancock and Chloe (Kendall) Williams; great-great grandchildren, Kyzer Williams and Keatyn Williams; siblings, Merry Barnett and Jeanne Cullison; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry M. Tucker; siblings, Joe Harrell, Betty Geatches, Jane Dickerson, Donnie Harrell, Billy Harrell and David Harrell.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 1 p.m.. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service.
