Randy R. Hamilton

Randy R. Hamilton, 74, of Freedom, passed away on Friday November 10, 2023, at 9:05 p.m. at IU Hospice House in Bloomington. Randy was born on September 23, 1949 in Indianapolis to Malcolm L. and Helen V. (Weaver) Hamilton. Randy was raised in Bloomfield and graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1967, he retired from Greater Albany Public School Systems in Albany, Oregon, he was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.

Randy married Sherri Hamilton on September 8, 2007, in Clay City and she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri Hamilton of Freedom; two sons, Matthew L. (Katelyn) Hamilton of Turner, Ore. and Patrick L. Hamilton of Ore.; one grandson, Callan Hamilton of Turner, Ore.; one brother, Dennis A. (Cindi) Hamilton of Bloomfield; two stepsons, JB (Billie) Hall of Ellettsville, and Steve (Rachelle) Price of Ellettsville; three step-grandsons, Chance Niswander, Kaiden Thompson and Garrett Thompson; two step-great-grandchildren, June and Amara Niswander and his best friend, Neil Hunt.

He was Uncle Randy to many nieces and nephews,

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Kay Ann Ellis.

Cremation was chosen, with a celebration of his life at a later date.
