THE BEAUTY OF A SIMPLER CHRISTMAS

“The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,”
Here alone in the woods, it is a different world and is such a contrast. Life seems simpler, as it should be. Kathy, the beautiful radiant light of the family, still telecommutes for SAIC. Such love and kindness she has for her family and caring for others. She is cement of the family. She continues to be cancer-free. Roger tells her she is the best thing that has happened to him. Being so modest, she agrees. She told Roger he had a lot to be modest about.
Their wedding anniversary is December 26.
And then there is Roger. He is still EMA Director and had many projects in 2022. They really made the year fly.
He serves on the library board, and believes that reading calms the soul and brings peace.
His very dear friend and classmate, Lonnie Vandeventer, works at the library and helps keep things in place. Because of Lonnie, he joined the Rotary Club and has enjoyed his time there. Axe had Covid in July but not Kathy or Joshua and although it was not severe, the medication was worst part of it with its side effects.
During the year, the family tried to prune unnecessary things from their lives and concentrate on more important items. After the Lord, the most important thing for them is they have each other. They all live by the adage, The best way to have a friend is be one.
As 2022 draws rapidly to a close, we wish and pray for you in the coming new year, a simpler uncluttered life, spending more time with loved ones, and putting the important tFROM OUR HOME TO YOUR HOME
FROM ALL OF US TO ALL OF YOU
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Joshua, Kathy and Roger Axe
P.S. We are always here for prayer requests.
