The 5th Annual Bloomfield Art Festival was staged Saturday in the Bloomfield Town Park. There was a nice display of art, photos, handmade jewelry, bird houses and feeders and other artisan crafts

The Town of Bloomfield has a new logo. Aaron May, of rural Bloomfield, produced the winning design. The town of Bloomfield has a new town logo. The logo, designed by rural Bloomfield resident Aaron May, was selected from among 23 entrants in a logo contest, sponsored by Psi Iota Xi Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce. May received a $250 prize for his efforts.

Bloomfield Town Marshal Kenny Tharp prepares to take a dip in the dunk tank at the art festival after a young hurler hit dead center on the release arm. Money raised at the dunk tank benefited the Bloomfield Fill-the-Pool project.
