The historic Roosevelt Mission in Linton was demolished in early April 2020. The building, which stood on the corner of 1st St NE and Vincennes St. in Linton, served as the Mission for 30 years. In previous incarnations, the building served as a restaurant and a hotel, providing lodging for "Roy Clark and Friends" during their yearly visits to Linton. The building had been beyond repair for a number of years, and as bricks began to fall, city officials decided to take the building, and two adjacent structures, down to protect Linton citizens.
