Isn't it amazing the way that we will pick up a tune or phrase or scripture verse and it will run through our mind all day? Somewhere, last week, I read or saw the part of the scripture verse that simply said, "Behold the Lamb ..." and I went through the Holy Week with this admonition from John the Baptist echoing through my mind! It was a wonderful week; especially the services on Good Friday and watching the children on Saturday and the great celebration on Easter Sunday.. ...

Linton man faces forgery charges

A 45-year-old Linton man was arrested Thursday evening on eight preliminary counts of forgery and three preliminary counts of theft. Donald E. Walters Jr. was arrested by Deputy John Fowler. He is being held in Greene County jail without bond. According to a probable cause affidavit, written by Greene County Sheriff's Department Det. George Dallaire, a representative of Bloomfield State Bank presented the sheriff's office with eight checks along with matching forged signature affidavits...
