Bloomfield man fails to register as sex offender

A Bloomfield man, who was convicted of sexual battery in 2003, is behind bars after failing to register as a sex offender. Roy L. Frye, 19, was arrested Tuesday by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy John Fowler. According to a probable cause affidavit, filed in Greene Superior Court and written by Det. George Dallaire of the GCSD, Frye was convicted of sexual battery on Oct. 28, 2003 in Bartholomew County. He's required to register as a sex offender until Dec. 2, 2013...
