Counterfeit bills have been surfacing in Linton over the last couple of weeks and Linton Police Chief Troy Jerrell is issuing a warning to local businesses and individuals. Jerrell says people should be alert to the problem because anyone who accepts a counterfeit bill will be out of luck when they take it to the bank...

At a public forum staged Monday night for students, parents and school faculty members in Glover Gym at Bloomfield Junior-Senior High School, Bloomfield Town Marshal Kenneth Tharp announced that the investigation into both threats was progressing.
