Wreck shuts down county road for about six hours

A portion of County Road 1500 West in Wright Township was closed to traffic for almost six hours Monday evening after a truck carrying a load of batteries slid off the road and landed in a ditch. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Skyler J. Pittman reported the truck was very heavily loaded, carrying in excess of 20,000 pounds of fork lift batteries. Worthington Council donates surplus patrol car to sheriff's department reserves
