The Greene County 4-H and Open Class Fair hits the mid-week point today (Wednesday) with a host of events planned. At 9 a.m., the 4-H Rabbit Show is featured in the barn show arena. The Linton Rotary Club will host its annual Hot Dog Lunch for 4-H members and leaders at noon in the community building. The Rotarians have been putting on this cookout meal for more than 50 years as a community service project and way to say thank you to everyone involved in the 4-H program...

TERRE HAUTE -- After playing in only a handful of football games last season as a freshman, Eastern Greene graduate Luke Crites expects to see more playing on the field for his sophomore campaign at Rose Hulman this season. Indiana Conservation Officers officially discontinued the search of the West Fork of White River in Greene County for a missing Bloomfield on Tuesday, but they say the case is not closed.
