The curtain dropped on the 2008 version of the Greene County Fair on Saturday night with banging, crunching and more than a few scratches with the staging of the annual Demolition Derby. The object of this down home event is simple. Contestants driving home-made painted, backyard engineered vehicles of all sizes, shapes and colors, bang into each other in the center of the grandstand arena.
