Lt. Col. Allan Lee Roach, 62, of Moss Bluff, LA died at 4:15 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1948, raised, and educated in Indianapolis. A graduate of Southport High School, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Military Science from Purdue University and his Master's Degree in Psychology from Lawton Community College. During his younger years, he was a Boy Scout and attained rank of Eagle. He served 23 years in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger and retired at a Lieutenant Colonel.
