A Linton police officer worked two wrecks that unfolded at the same time Friday afternoon in different parts of town. One property damage wreck was reported at 3:40 p.m. at the corner of South Main Street (State Road 59) and A Street SE Street. A 2005 Ford, driven by 20-year-old Lance Williams, of Worthington, was stopped at the stop sign on A Street. The Linton City Council approved a pair of bond anticipation notes (BANs) necessary to cover the costs of engineering studies for planned improvements to the city's water and sewers.
