Bloomfield man sentenced for 2014 throat slashing

The Bloomfield man accused of slashing the throat of another man in an unprovoked attack in 2014 was sentenced in Greene Circuit Court Thursday morning. Michael Alec Miller was sentenced to 30 years in prison with 10 years suspended to probation. Miller was accused of slashing the throat of Jeremy Kohn in August of 2014 as the victim sat on his porch with his girlfriend, which was just a few blocks from Miller's own home...

Puckett to retire from Linton-Stockton after 43 years

After 43 years as an educator, Pam Puckett has decided to retire from Linton-Stockton School Corporation. The School Board accepted her resignation at the last meeting, which is effective at the end of the school year.
