The Bloomfield Town Council approved the partial closure of Franklin Street for a few hours each Friday of the summer for the farmers' market. The Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce and Bloomfield Downtown Revitalization are partnering for this year's market, which is scheduled to run May 27 through Sept. 30...

Volunteers Richard Kaiser, Tim Tucker, John Cotter and Bob Evans were hard at work Friday at Humphreys Park in Linton, moving the children's playground from its location near the front of the park to a new spot near the horseshoe pits. Angela Kay (Hubbard) Hancock, 43, of Greencastle, passed away at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Saturday, May 7, 2016. She was born July 7, 1972, in Linton, to Jerry Hubbard, Sr. and Barbara (Hubbard) Hill. She got her nursing degree from Ivy Tech in 2001 and worked for Summerfield Health Care in Cloverdale. She was a member of Grace Tabernacle Pentecostal Church and enjoyed crafting, sewing, cooking and loved spending time with her family...
