Marie Workman, age 79, of Linton, passed away at 2:49 p.m. on her 61st wedding anniversary, Saturday, July 16, 2016, with her loved ones at her residence. Marie was born in Linton on Sept. 20, 1936, the daughter of Dewey and Nellie (Abbott) Brown. She worked throughout the years as a clerk for the auditor and treasurer at the Marion and Monroe County Court Houses.
