The Bloomfield High School NJROTC recently hosted their annual Cardinal Competition, Oct. 15 in Bloomfield. The group faced four other Indiana NJROTC units and one from Kentucky. More than 175 cadets from Bloomfield, Anderson, Floyd Central, Pike, Washington and Shawnee Mission High in Kentucky competed in various NJROTC events, including Air Rifle, Academics, Color Guard, Unarmed Regulation Drill and Uniformed Personnel Inspection, as well as in five separate athletic events towards an overall Athletic Trophy.. ... -
