Virginia Lee Padgett, 78, of Linton, passed away Nov. 18, 2016 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born Oct.2, 1938 in Linton to William and Mallisa Mildred (Haegele) Watson. She was a 1956 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. She had several jobs during her lifetime including waitress, cashier and co-owner of Harley’s Tavern. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing, working in her flower garden and spending time with her family...
