Linton moved to 11-0 Saturday with a 74-30 takedown of Mitchell as the Lady Miners have reached the halfway point in the season. A total of 56 of the 74 points came from their senior trio of Vanessa Shafford (25), Haley Rose (22), and Aubrey Burgess (9). Dan Edward Haskins, age 66, of Linton, passed away at 1:47 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. He was born in Evansville, on June 10, 1954, the son of Jewell Edward & Betty (Goodge) Haskins. Dan was a 1972 graduate of North Knox High School. Braiden S. Haton, age 18, of Linton, passed away on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at Edwardsport. He was born in Sullivan, on Oct. 14, 2002, the son of Joshua D. Haton & Crystal Dawn (Hansens) Wilkins.
