Miners and Cardinals carry SWIAC honors

The lists of All-SWIAC teams were released Tuesday night as the conference leaders shared the most players being honored. Linton tied North Daviess with four players on the boys team with Bloomfield right behind with three. The four Miners are seniors Joey Hart, Logan Webb, Nathan Frady and junior Braden Walters. The Miners are 26-1 and just won its fifth straight sectional title. It is the first time for Frady on the All-SWIAC team as Hart, Webb and Walters made the team last season. For Webb and Hart, it’s three straight seasons on the All-SWIAC team.

Draper opens new office at WestGate

LINTON – It was a game Linton senior Logan Webb still looks back at for motivation. A 58-57 loss to Southwestern in regional semifinals at Huntingburg. A game where, Webb, felt he let his teammates down. “After that game me and Coach Hart had a heart to heart. I knew I wasn’t very good and I wanted to be very good. Ever since then I got in the gym and I worked. Coach Hart saw me working and turned me into one of the main scoring options.”...

Multi-district girls’ team to flex in national competition in April
