Former administrator remembers Mayor Wright

To the Editor:

Many kind words have been shared about Mayor Wright. I would like to share some things you have not heard about.

From the start of his service as mayor until the end of his term, Glenburn Home was always helped with special needs.

During severe weather, we changed employee shifts, had meals on time, streets open for ambulance service and our family of 156 people were safe, thanks to city and staff and the vehicles.

During the years there were special police needs, fire alarms, 3-phase electrical problems, mine cave-in, major sewer stoppages, and always the city was there when we needed them.

Mayor Wright never failed to help Glenburn Home. We were and always will be grateful.
