Election Letters To The Editor Policy

The Greene County Daily World encourages Letters to the Editor about the May 6 primary election. All letters must be received by 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday to be included on the Viewpoints page. Letters are printed in the order they are received. Letters must include a signature, daytime and nighttime telephone number. The newspaper reserves the right to edit all letters.

No letters about candidates will be published after May 1, though candidates who were written about May 1 will be allowed to respond on May 3. No election letters to the editor will be allowed in the May 6 edition.

All letters must be 600 words or less. Letters may be mailed to P. O. Box 129, Linton, Ind., 47441 or e-mailed to cpruett79@hotmail.com.
