Thanks for helping food pantry

To the Editor:

To Mary at the Post Office. Our sincere thanks to you for coordinating the recent food drive!

We are sure the other recipients agree that this is a true show of Christian Stewardship and God is indeed smiling down on you and all other volunteers that assisted in anyway.

God bless.

Family appreciates support

To the Editor:

The family of Morris Sinclair would like to thank all the people who sent flowers, cards, brought food, calls and made donations to his funeral and people who came to see him.

Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Union Hospital and Jasonville Nursing Home. There is no one better than Vern Spoor and Todd from Welch and Cornett.

All hearts were touched by the VFW at Worthington for the dinner and the men at the gun salute.

Thanks for the birthday party

To the Editor:

I wish to thank my family, friends and neighbors for the many beautiful birthday cards and gifts I received on my 90th birthday.

Thank you all, they are greatly appreciated. It was a joy and a blessing.

May God bless each one of you.

Is a master plan really a good thing?

To the Editor:

The bureaucrats are enthused at the prospect of having a master plan for Greene County.

A master plan will promote a litigatious society.

A master plan is good for the rich and bad for the poor.

A master plan is the loss of one more freedom.

If the taxpayers don't fight zoning, they will regret it, forever and a day!
