* May 17 -- Rosettia Anderson Ellis, 54, Linton, was arrested after being pulled over by LPD Officer Mike Harroll around 8:20 p.m. An officer had received a call about a silver passenger car that was heading into Linton on State Road 54. The caller was concerned about driving behavior and suspected the driver, Ellis, could possibly be intoxicated. The car was located leaving Casey's General Store then it went to the Dairy Queen, then to the former Hanley's grocery store. At that point, Officer Harroll began to follow the vehicle on SR 54 to observe driving behavior. The officer reported it drove left of the center line three times and almost struck a vehicle that was stopped in a turn lane. Once stopped, Ellis appeared to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests on the scene and at the police department. She was first transported to Greene County General Hospital for a blood draw then booked into jail on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, a class D felony. LPD Officers Nick Yingling and Paul Clark assisted on the scene.

* May 23 -- Stephanie Marlowe, 30, Linton, was arrested around 12:30 p.m. by LPD Officer Nick Yingling after he was dispatched to a residence on SW J St. When he arrived he reported he saw Marlowe on the property getting items out of a shed. A male resident told the officer Marlowe was not supposed to be there and there was a no-trespassing order in place. After the officer checked and learned the no-trespass order had been given on April 22, Marlowe was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Sheriff's Department.
