Scholarship fund will pass on man's legacy
To the Editor:
The Campbell Family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the supporters of the Stephen L. Campbell Scholarship Fund. Your donations remind us just how much Steve was loved. The success of our golf scramble, held on June 29th at the Phil Harris Golf course in Linton, helped solidify our hope that Steve's legacy will be passed to future generations.

"Campbell's Scramble" raised over $8,200, an amount that greatly exceeded our expectations. That, coupled with the initial donations to the Stephen L. Campbell Scholarship Fund, has gotten us off to a wonderful start. Two scholarships have already been awarded to White River Valley High School 2013 seniors Cade Hill and Paige Hoffeditz. We look forward to awarding many more scholarships in the future, as well as hosting the annual Campbell's Scramble. To our friends, family, and community, we thank you again for your generous support.

Anniversary was special
To the Editor:
We would like to thank everyone who helped make our 50th wedding anniversary special. We enjoyed all the cards, phone calls and gifts sent. Our family and friends have been such a blessing to us. We love you all.
Thank you to our daughters, Michelle (Brad) McKinney and Tracy (Joel) Swearinger for the lovely dinner and reception afterwards with our 6 Grandchildren. Love you forever.

Thank you for support during illness
To the Editor:
I wish to thank all my family and friends for their prayers and thoughts during my surgery and post surgery. The many cards I received made my stay in the hospital seem shorter. I deeply appreciate my family and friends. Life would be very lonely without them.
