**Public assistance requested** State police investigating fatal hit and run crash

Indianapolis District Troopers continue to investigate the Monday afternoon crash that resulted in the death of Brendan Blue Allen, 28, of Indianapolis. However, they are looking for additional witnesses who may have observed the crash as it occurred and corroborate tips they have already received.

Investigators are asking for anyone who was witness to the March 8 crash, which occurred at approximately 9:35 p.m. on eastbound I-70 near mile marker 84.5 (Rural Street exit), to come forward to assist with their investigation. Investigators are looking for an older model white vehicle, possibly a Toyota Corolla, with extensive front-end damage
