Thomas E. Corbin

Thomas E. Corbin, 74, of Bloomfield passed away Tuesday January 31, 2023 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born August 10, 1948 in Greene County, the son of Earl and Mabel Pearl (Aishe) Corbin.

Thomas worked in maintenance at Monroe County School system for several years and attended the Word of Life Fellowship Church in Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Mary Corbin; his four children, Adam Corbin, Linda (Robert) Helderman, Cathy (Matt) Bland, Jackie (Josh) Madden; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Helms and one brother John Corbin.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Earl Corbin; step-mother, Vera Corbin; mother, Mabel Corbin; one son, Earl Corbin; one sister, Linda Brawley and one brother, Richard Corbin.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and 12 p.m. on Thursday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday February 9, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Brother Eugene Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Scotland Cemetery.

The family wishes any memorial donations be made to Scotland Cemetery.
