Annalee Hostetter passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at Scenic Hills at the Monastery Nursing Home in Ferdinand. She was born on November 30, 1928 in Linton, the daughter of Mirl Irving and Bessie May (Padgett) Tincher and was a graduate of Marco High School. Annalee was a homemaker and after raising her family worked as a postal rural carrier. She loved to play cards and really enjoyed listening to and playing music on her guitar. She was known by many for playing her music.

She is survived by her sons, John (Karen) Hostetter of Worthington, Donald “Chico” (Marcia) Hostetter of Mass., Jim (Nel) Hostetter of Spencer, Jack (Darlene) Hostetter of Spencer and Bryan “Bear” Hostetter of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Jessica (Eric) Wright of Jasper, Troy Hostetter, Mitch Hostetter, Darin (Tricia) Hostetter, Dana Boyd, Jon Boyd, Anna Hostetter, A.J. Hostetter, Jay Hostetter, Nathan (Angie) Hostetter, Tyler Hostetter; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Hostetter; daughter, Janet Boyd; brothers, Paul Tincher, Elmo Tincher, Charles Tincher, Bobby Tincher and sister, Velma Knowles.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, 23 South Jefferson Street, Worthington. Pastor Matt Baker will officiate. Burial will follow in Worthington Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2023 and again 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Worthington First Baptist Church through the funeral home.
