Patricia "Pat" Rhodes

Patricia "Pat" Rhodes, age 77, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Glenburn Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Sullivan on July 2,1945, the daughter of Charles and Juanita (Wilkey) Badger.

She was a 1963 graduate of Sullivan High School. She worked at Glenburn Home for several years as a CNA and housekeeper, then she worked at Walmart after retiring from Glenburn. She loved shopping, going to yard sales and spending time with her family.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Donald "Don" Rhodes; daughters, Christy Rhodes, Belinda Murphy and Whitney (Wohali Snyder) Rhodes;

grandchildren, Vanessa Johnson, Courtney Murphy and Mikyla Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Tyler Johnson and Lillie Johnson; brother, Harold Badger and sisters, Rose Distel, Mary Monroe, Alice Eyre and Sharon Hensley as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Maxine Shorter.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 with Pastor Dave Tyra officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview

Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Linton through the funeral home.
