According to reader Heather McCammon, the Linton Stockton archery team is doing well.
"The archers have done extremely well and we have had a student place every tournament," McCammon said. "Shooters Archery lets the team use their range to practice. The team has come so far from that first practice and continue to become very valued archers for their team.
This year, we have three kids, Rainey McCammon, Lane McDonald and Casin Pope that have advanced to state. They are all eighth-graders at Linton Middle School." McCammon said state competition is held in Indianapolis March 11. "We hope to continue to see this program grow. Good luck archers," she added.
