Adam T. Brown

Adam T. Brown, age 49 of Linton, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Linton on September 1, 1973, the son of Rick Brown and Patricia (Weaver) Colbert, and step-father, Harry Colbert.

Adam was a 1991 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School and attended Ivy Tech College. He formerly worked as a machinist.

He enjoyed coaching softball with the Clover Softball Organization, fishing, weight lifting, trading guns and playing cards. Throughout the years Adam suffered from many health issues, but always kept his upbeat personality and shared his smile and laugh with everyone he knew.

He is survived by his father, Rick (Nancy) Brown; his brother, Rick (Michelle) Brown of Jasonville; three sisters, Amanda (Scott) Lower of Linton, Jessica (Jason) Hays of Linton and LeAnn (Matt) Krus of Miss.; nephews and nieces, Devon Brown, Dylan Brown, Brianna (Dylan) Morris, Maggie Lower, Sophie Lower, Hallie Benefiel and Cade Benefiel; his stepfather, who helped raise him, Harry Colbert; extended family, Mike, Ruan, Steve, Nicole, Stephanie and Dess Fougerousse; and long-time best friend, Richie Budd.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Colbert and maternal grandparents, Pat and Charmion Weaver.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Monday, March 6, 2023 from 4- 8 p.m..

Graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Linton at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
