Clyde Woodrow "Jr" Thompson, Jr.

Clyde Woodrow "Jr" Thompson, Jr., age 75, of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born in Linton on September 26, 1947, the son of Clyde Sr. and Virginia (West) Thompson.

He was a graduate of Worthington Jefferson High School. He worked as a farmer for most of his life and he was also a truck driver. He was a member of Southwestern Indiana Angus Association and the Cattleman Association. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them show in cattle shows all across the country.

Jr is survived by his loving companion of over 30 years, Susan Street of Blomfield; son, Tyler (Tina) Thompson of Paragon; stepdaughter, Jessica (Kendall) Bremer of Iowa; grandchildren, Brady Belcher, Greyson Belcher, Abree Belcher, Klaira Bremer and Kora Bremer; great-granddaughter, Rosalynn Faith; niece, Beth (Eric) Taylor and nephew, Kevin (Penny) Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Linda Thompson, Parker Thompson and Patricia Thompson and niece, Louanne Salyers.

Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on

Monday, April 10, 2023 with Pastor Jim Roach officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
