The National Weather Service issued an advisory Tuesday afternoon, warning all residents of central Indiana of high winds from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The NWS advisory warns of southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects, tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

These winds are expected outside of thunderstorms, and highest of these winds are expected in the late morning into the afternoon.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
