WRV warns patrons of scam calls soliciting money

The White River Valley School District said Friday they have been made aware that some local businesses and patrons have been receiving phone calls soliciting funds for athletics and football programs.

“Obviously, WRV does not have football,” said WRV Superintendent Dr. Bob Hacker. “The number being used is an Indianapolis number with area code 317. If you receive such a call, please disregard it and contact WRVSD Police Resource Officer Ron Sparks at 812-659-1424.”
