Stella Marie Wollenweber

Stella Marie Wollenweber, age 70, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on June 8, 1952, the daughter of Ira Kirkley and Dorothy (Broshears) Kirkley.

Stella was a graduate of Washington State. Stella was a mother and Nana before earning her associates degree, working as a medical coding director for three years.

Stella enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and spending time with her family and grandkids.

She is survived by husband, Cary Wollenweber of Linton; daughter, Stacy Piker (Bobby) of Linton; son, David Donaldson of Indiana; grandchildren, Caitlynne Mitchell (Xavier Chavez) of Ill., Krystin Clark (Zachary) of Linton, Mitchell Piker of Linton, Caleb Tomlin (Taylor) of Dugger and Chris Hughes of Monrovia; sister, Bonnie Ridinger (Tom) of Jasonville; step daughter, Misty Donaldson-Urriola of Kansas City, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Matteo Chavez, Ella Chavez, Wyatt White, Madden Clark, Kallie Clark, Arizona Clark, Tryslie Clark, Raven Hughes, Ethan Hughes and several extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Randall "Randy" Donaldson; daughter, Michelle Stephens and granddaughter, Abigail Donaldson.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2 p.m. with Jerry Heck officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until the time of service.
