Valerie Anne Chipman

Valerie Anne Chipman, 62, of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at her residence.

Born January 22, 1961 in Gary, she was the daughter of Leonard Joseph and Mary Lou (Penick) Kienzynski.

Valerie was a homemaker.

Surviving relatives include one son, Aaron Chipman (Dana) of Bloomfield; stepdaughters, Laurie Brooke Petty (Ryan) of Orleans and Carla Marcowitz (Howard) of St. Petersburg, Fla.; her grandson, Caiden Chipman; granddaughter, Lucy Chipman and an expected grandson coming in August, Collin; step-

grandsons, Harris and Griffin Marcowitz; her longtime companion, Jim Townsend of Bloomfield; mother, Mary Lou Kienzynski of Bloomfield; her sisters, Vickie Long (Ron) of Bloomfield, Mary Sue Thompson (Don) of Newark and Misty Kienzynski of Bloomfield; nieces and nephews, Carrie Battle (Kornell) of Noblesville; Bryan Long (Jenna) of Avon, Melody Henderson (Mike) of Avon and Sarah Thompson of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Valerie’s wishes were to be cremated and not to have public visitation or a funeral service. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
