Kenneth Jewell Yeryar

Kenneth Jewell Yeryar, 97, of Princeton, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at home. He was born on July 2, 1926 in Greene County to Herbert and Doris (Dayton) Yeryar. He married the love of his life, Marilyn (Aarnink) Yeryar on December 23, 1947 and they were blessed with 69 years before her passing in August 2017. He served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. He opened Princeton Automotive and later worked for Old Ben Coal for over 17 years. Kenneth was a member of the Broadway Christian Church in Princeton. He was a woodworker, handyman and all-around “Mr. Fix-It”, a hard worker and so kind-hearted. A loving father, husband and grandfather, he had a calm nature and spoiled his grandchildren with love.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Douglas Yeryar (Linda) of Princeton and Kimberly Blaize (Terry) of Hazleton; and grandchildren, Megan Arthur (Eric), Melissa Yeryar and Kenneth Blaize.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn; daughter, Janet Perry; and five sisters and two brothers.

At the request of Kenneth, there will be no public visitation or service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jasonville High School Alumni Association at JHS-SHS Alumni Association, P.O. Box 6, Jasonville, IN 47438.
