Marjorie Jeffers

Marjorie Jeffers, 91, of Bloomington passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at her residence.

Born December 20, 1931 in Greene County, the daughter of Roscoe and Minnie (Bland) Bays.

Marjorie worked at RCA and retired from Indiana University, she attended the City Church of All Nations in Bloomington, she loved working in her yard and in her flowers and traveling the U.S. and several foreign countries.

Surviving relatives include several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonda L. Lawrence, on March 27, 2000; her husband, Levon Jeffers, on January 12, 2020; one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Daniel Frye officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.

The family wishes any memorial donations be made to Grandview Cemetery in Marjorie’s name.
