Robert L. Davis, Sr.

Robert L. Davis, Sr. 71, of Worthington, went to be with our Lord on Friday, July 14, 2023.

Born March 6, 1952 in Celina, Tenn. to Robert W. and Mary Lee (Smith) Davis.

Leon served his country in the Vietnam War with the United States Army from July 18, 1969 to January 23, 1972. He loved fishing, going to the riverboat and traveling. He enjoyed being around people and loved his family. He worked for Roadside Safety for twenty-seven years and retired in 2020.

Surviving relatives include one son, Robert L. Davis, Jr.; one brother, Charles A. Kerr; two sisters, Claire Kerr and Elizabeth Hasler-Baugh and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John Davis; two sisters, Lauvina Davis and Susie Kay Johnson and his parents.

Robert’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date.
