Robert L. Murray

Robert L. Murray, 82, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday August 17, 2023 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born December 13, 1940 in Osgood, the son of Robert L. Sr. and Doris (Meadows) Murray.

Robert was a farmer, held management positions in the electronics industry and also work as a corrections officer. He was a member of the Faith Christian Church and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Surviving relatives include his children, Keith A. Murray, Alisa K. Johnston and husband Neil; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. Murray on May 9, 2000; one sister, Bonita Kempf, and his parents.

A private family burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Donations in Robert’s name can be given to Grandview Cemetery.
