Richard Milton Baird

Richard Milton Baird, age 47, formally of Bloomfield, passed away on September 3, 2023 at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Colo.. Born March 20, 1976 in Bloomington, he is the son of William and Lillie Mae Baird.

He is survived by brothers, Steven (Anna Marie) and Larry; sisters, Liz (Larry) Shidler, Diana Rollins and Teresa (Bill) Perry; several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. Richard treasured many friendships including Travis Edwards and Andy Huffman.

Richard enjoyed the mountains of Colorado, fulfilling many of his dreams along the way, and will always be remembered as a protector of his people.

A celebration of his life will be Saturday, September 16, 2023 with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Jenkins Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
