Connor Leygh Deckard

Connor Leygh Deckard passed away unexpectedly on September 14 in Springville.

Connor was born in Bloomington on June 21, 2002 to Christopher and Pamela (Harper) Deckard. He attended Bloomington North High School, and later worked in construction as a carpenter. His absolute favorite times were spent on the back of his motorcycle. His motto was “Live to ride, ride to live”. He was so loved and will be dearly missed.

Connor is survived by his parents, Christopher and Pamela Deckard; siblings Bryre, Braxton, Jadyne and Chloey Deckard; grandmother, Joyce Deckard; paternal uncle, John Deckard (Peggy Newman); maternal aunts, Cindy Feutz (Terry) and Alexis Harper; and maternal uncle Pete Thompson. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Deckard and his maternal grandparents, Shelby Rollins and Michael Harper.

A visitation will be held at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard on Tuesday, September 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. A second visitation will be held at The Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, September 20 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., followed immediately by a funeral service at 1 p.m. and committal at Clear Creek Cemetery with Keith Thompson officiating.
